My horse has a fever, sore throat, and very achy back (I assume). I was going to give him some ivermectin paste, but I’m a little nervous, I’ve never dosed him before. I know COVID alpha was recommended .2g/kg body weight, but I’ve heard delta variant may want .4g/kg.
Do you know which protocol is best?
Also has anybodys horse suffered side effects from this?
If the box says the paste is 91mcg per pound and the tube is for one 1250 pound horse. Then each tube contains 113,750mcg. Because 1mg=1000mcg. Each tube of paste has 113.75mg. If each click is 50pounds, then each click has 4.55mg. Hope this helps your horse
Thank you, is one dose enough or how long do I wait for a second dose

PREVENTION & EARLY OUTPATIENT TREATMENT PROTOCOL FOR COVID-19 IVERMECTIN Summary of the Clinical Trials Evidence for Ivermectin in COVID19 Ivermectin, an anti-parasitic medicine whose discovery won the Nobel Prize in 2015, has proven, highly potent, anti-viral and anti- inflammatory properties in laboratory studies. In the past 4 months, numerous, con- trolled clinical trials from multiple centers and countries worldwide are reporting consistent, large improvements in COVID-19 patient outcomes when treated with ivermectin. Our comprehensive scientific review of these referenced trials on ivermectin can be found on www.flccc.net/flccc-ivermectin-in-the- prophylaxis-and-treatment-of-covid-19/ For a quick overview, a One-page Summary of our review on ivermectin can be found on www.flccc.net/flccc-ivermectin-summary FRONT LINE COVID-19 CRITICAL CARE ALLIANCE PREVENTION & TREATMENT PROTOCOLS FOR COVID-19 Page 2/2 Body weight conversion (kg/lb) for ivermectin dose in prevention and treatment of COVID19 Body weight Conversion (1 kg ≈ 2.2 lbs) (doses calculated per upper end of weight range) Dose 0.2 mg/kg ≈ 0.09 mg/lb (Each tablet = 3 mg; doses rounded to nearest half tablet above) 70–90 lb 91–110 lb 111–130 lb 131–150 lb 151–170 lb 171–190 lb 191–210 lb 211–230 lb 231–250 lb 251–270 lb 271–290 lb 291–310 lb 32–40 kg 41–50 kg 51–59 kg 60–68 kg 69–77 kg 78–86 kg 87–95 kg 96–104 kg 105–113 kg 114–122 kg 123–131 kg 132–140 kg 8 mg 10 mg 12 mg 13.5 mg 15 mg 16 mg 18 mg 20 mg 22 mg 24 mg 26 mg 28 mg (3 tablets = 9 mg) (3.5 tablets) (4 tablets) (4.5 tablets) (5 tablets) (5.5 tablets) (6 tablets) (7 tablets = 21 mg) (7.5 tablets=22.5 mg) (8 tablets) (9 tablets = 27 mg) (9.5 tablets=28.5 mg) Pulse Oximeter (usage instructions) In symptomatic patients, monitoring with home pulse oximetry is recommended (due to asymptomatic hypoxia). The limitations of home pulse oximeters should be recognized, and validated de- vices are preferred. Multiple readings should be taken over the course of the day, and a downward trend should be regarded as ominous. Baseline or ambulatory desaturation < 94% should prompt hospital admission. The following guidance is suggested: – Use the index or middle finger; avoid the toes or ear lobe. – Only accept values associated with a strong pulse signal. – Observe readings for 30–60 seconds to identify the most common value. – Remove nail polish from the finger on which measurements are made. – Warm cold extremities prior to measurement. I gave my horse a full dose and then a second dose 48 hrs later.
I took horse wormer as prophylaxis during my road trip, husband and I didn’t have any problems with it. https://www.barnhardt.biz/ivermectin/
if your horse has access, they should try the apple flavored
I don't have a horse, just an old fat ass. 1 notch for every 50lbs. Very difficult to screw up. My old ass really enjoyed the paste with yogurt.
Delta Variant is a bunch of baloney. Give your horse a dose based on body weight, and round up to the next increment. Dose it daily on empty stomach and give 50 mg zinc with meal. And one aspirin per day. Do all for five days as regimen for sick person. No worries. Relax without fear. I just finished this protocol. I got rid of problems that were chronic, I'd been feing crappy for quite a while including bronchitis.
Weight one notch per 50lbs KISS method
I listened to a doctor (Dr. Ardis), who said there have been ZERO credible, reported Ivermectin deaths in 40 years of use.

This entire paper is jam packed with charts, info, dosages, explanations etc., etc. Take the time to read it and understand it. I based my treatment on ivermectin, zinc with C and quercetin, NAC and melatonin. I also used many of the other suggested treatments such as iodine added to saline and iodine and water used as a gargle. I treated with essential oils, herbs, teas, and homeopathies to treat symptoms like cough, sore throat , ear ache, nausea etc. and found it all worked together to keep me on a healing path. I took ivermectin for about 16 days straight according to body weight on the plunger. I wanted to make sure I wasn't having any breathing issues.. I am 70 and made it through just fine but I did sleep a LOT. This protocol will lower your blodpressure and blood sugar so keep your eye on that if you have issues.
No side effects for me, my daughter, nor granddaughter. We did exactly what rooftoptendie did. My daughter took Advil for low grade fever. Get well soon!
