Why now are UFO's a thing? Why now is the media, military, etc acknowledging their existence?
Could it be... that it is our own military? :-D
Meaning.. could it be the space force is using alien tech?

There is a theory that the DS will use a fake alien invasion as their last play, it came from the assistant to Werner Von Braun, the German scientist who was picked up after WW2 and bought to the USA. I forget her name, she has an interview on YT where she talks about how Von Braun warned her over and over about the playbook.
I don't know if that helps any, just saying some think this.
