Yeah not only that, but I believe this was around the time Rh blood type (RHESUS factor, as in monkey) was "discovered" in humans. But it was their experimental monkey cell vaccines that likely created Rh factor in humans.

Just look at the timeline. They started messing around with infected monkeys in the 1930s. The early vaccines they produced were actually very deadly, and killed most of the human test subjects. Rh factor discovered in 1937, same time period as this Polio/monkey research took place.
