I think any experimentation on animals is evil, even mice. Even if there is no direct harm. Robbing them of their lives and forcing them to live as slaves is clearly wrong.

But 'muh benefit to society". Pfft. What benefit is that exactly? I have not received this benefit. Is it even real? Surely the argument is "but muh cancer treatments". But the argument there is "we torture and enslave mice so that you can live incorrectly, get sick, and then we can treat your symptoms for cash".
