Fear, as seen lately, is the petri dish of failure, as it renders the body more amenable to disease. The one one response to this fear, the face diaper, provides the diseases that feed off that fear..
In the last year and a half, I have never been fearful, even though I am a "at risk senior" . Walking 2-2.5 miles a day has helped dispel lethargy.. I have people younger than I asking me to "slow down, you makin us look bad"..
I rarely wear a mask, frequently shake hands, high-five, and hug many people (esp. after my church opened up, to which I kept saying, Open, Open, Open every week and at meetings) and have yet to be sick for >1 day. I think 1 day I felt like crap, I slept in, took some vitamin C, D3, and Zinc, and got going the next day with no problems. People have been getting "covid" left and right and are afraid to interact with the general public, to which I say, spit in my mouth, give me your covid! (#NoHomoOkALittleBitHomo;) ) (you can take the boy out of the submarine but you can't take the submarine out of the boy)
LOLZ on submarine joke, with this addendum: You can keep the surface sailors outta Sub Alley, but you can't keep the dolphins outta Sub Alley... Learned this 1964 Yokosuka... 😁
I never followed the "protocols" of the distressed, washed my hands when they were dirty, rubbed my nose when it itched, laughed when the masked jumped away in fear and lamented not seeing the pretty smiles of doe eyed beauties..
