Yeah, people don’t learn from history because to them history is just a foreigner in a foreign language they can’t understand.
About 6 or so months ago I bumped into my colleague who lives quite near me and he was saying that thinks they should just install guards in each section of the city so that people aren’t wandering around spreading the disease.
He meant it. I said mate I don’t want to live in Cold War Berlin ffs. But nope. Lots of people actually WELCOME tyranny with open arms. No concept of history and an utter complacency that what happened to others in the past couldn’t also happen here.
It is amazing how history - if not repeating itself - at least rhymes. It's even more amazing that this is going on in front of us, and with all these modern technologies, no one is even aware of what is happening in AUS/NZ and other western nations.
Just shows us how effective and one-sided the propaganda of the media is, and how big tech is in on it.
This is from Dictator Dan in the state of Victoria. This is not for the whole of Australia. Yes, it is bad, but some perspective here. This is the same Dictator Dan that put in a place a Belt and Road agreement with China behind the Federal Govts back and despite them saying it can't be done.
Dictator Dan is obviously not working on behalf of the Victorian people, just who is he working for?
For context I live in Queensland. We don't have any of these bullshit laws being passed here, yet. We are not locked down and I go about my daily business with out wearing a mask or needing a vax. The mask requirement is there for inside businesses, but the majority or people just don't do it. Pretty much every shop keeper I talk to about it believes it is bullshit.
Sounds good, and I don't want to be a party pooper, but if this gets through, it will set a precedent. The plan has always been to use Victoria as the leverage point, an multiply and spread to the whole country.
Yeah, not saying it doesn't affect us all. My dad, brother and other rellies live in Vic. Unfortunately they have all accepted the vax into their lives. Nothing I can do about that, but pray for them now.
I don't think the other states will necessarily take it on though. There is still a lot of push back against what is happening in Vic from the other states.
We have some way to go yet, but I think the curtains are being pulled back.
Just amazes me that the entire world - especially the baby boomers - is not in a complete outrage over this.
Like .. what. the. fuck is the matter with people that they don't see this IS 1940 Germany all over again.

“Political suicide” implies that the folk have any sway over who they are presented with as their leaders.
You can’t commit suicide when you’re immortal and omnipotent.
