It's so insidious that even intelligent or based folks are guilty of popping antidepressants, sleeping pills, ADHD meds - whatever weakness they've been duped into believing they posses.
Considering not everyone has the same response to particular antidepressants, I can't possibly see what could go wrong, encouraging all the masses to take one as a blanket cure. Certainly we will not see a spike in suicides or manic, insane behavior. /s
About 15 years ago I had issues with anxiety at work, so I went to the Dr and he prescribed me xanax and paxil. Started talking then and felt pretty good for a couple days, then the anxiety came back. Dr wanted to increase the dose, but I dumped the pills in the trash instead. I realized that I can control the anxiety with my mind and haven’t had a problem since. Unfortunately, after only two weeks on these drugs, coming off was awful. Flu-like symptoms and very frequent sensations of electric shocks throughout my body that lasted for probably a month. That’s when I began to question doctors and pharmaceutical companies.
Dr Syed Haider prescribes fluvoxamine along with ivermectin for covid. It's only when you have severe symptoms and typically not used as a preventative measure.

Wow, I've never heard of shocks from Paxil. Sorry you went through that! Hope all is well now.
