Exactly. That's why I'm so zero tolerance on his guilt in this. He's too good for the training the rest of us spent our time making sure we have down. Notice the rest of us haven't killed anyone accidentally because of being too good for training.

I think you're spot on. Any of the possibilities you cited are absolutely possible.
