I had this idea. What if I went south to Mexico, bought a Venezuelan identity, gave some family a sack of rice or something to 'adopt' their kid, then came up and got caught crossing the border on purpose, got split up from the kid, and then collected my 450,000 dollars? Wash rinse repeat. How likely am I to get busted as a US citizen doing this?

Agreed i like the spirit but it’s not workable
I have avoided emergency rooms and doctors my entire adult life but my plan has always been to pretend i only speak a Guatemalan aboriginal dialect and that im totally undocumented to avoid payment
yup we should all do that to collect that money.
