I have three tubes of horse paste in my fridge and decided to open one and take a dose (about 1/8 of the tube) just to see if there were any side effects under controlled conditions and to see if it made me feel better.
The medicine is a white paste, looks a little like hand cream and tastes fine. It's not a nasty or strong flavor, very mild and acceptable for something that tastes like medicine.
That was 24 hours ago and I haven't noticed any negative side effects, not that I was expecting to. I have been cutting up a massive amount of tree branches using secateurs all week and it has caused my right hand to start feeling pins and needles because of the strain. Today it's almost totally cured, but that might just be a coincidence.

I think paste has to be stored at 20-25 degrees C. Better check the instructions.
