More basic sure, but I don't think it'd be simpler.. what's the time/cost involved in checking papers for every person? Are you proposing busting down doors and checking papers on everyone in every house?
We can't even stop drug dealers in this country, I don't see this happening without some major gestapo big-brother stuff. We've got what 10 million illegals in the country? More?
Either way you must identify and track them down to force them to do something. Which is easier and less costly? Track them down and force them to enroll and attend free classes for citizenship and transport them to all those classes for free? Track them down and transport them out of the country. What you are saying is more costly, takes more time, and yields less results.
What I described was voluntary, while also cutting off all support/drivers-permission/etc. for those who don't sign up for it.
There's no easy way, Please elaborate on how you get the 10 million to send back.
They can already voluntarily do what you say... and they are not. We can agree on one thing, start enforcing laws that make life hard for them. They don’t need more free support. They need consequences.
I appreciate you agreeing with me, and raising more objections, I'm just waiting for your solution on how to round them all up and send them home, for 10 million people with lefty citizen help. I got downvoted for proposing what I felt was a pragmatic solution, and haven't heard any real counter-proposal.
