Good start, although I don't see them leaving very quickly, if ever.
Lots of illegals get paid cash for work like Roofing or other labor jobs. Cheap labor, no taxes, unethical businesses. Need to stop that somehow.

That's were the taxing of remittances comes into play. A lot of illegals send money back to their countries. It's an entire retirement scheme that they have in place. They make money in USA, live on very little, and send a large portion back. Them after 10 years they head back and "retire" while the next wave comes and does the same thing.
Taxing remittances reduces the amount they get to send back and helps offset the cost of illegals. I'm sure you know that illegals cost us billions of dollars a year.
Sounds like a plan. Definitely not "pro open borders"
