So your disagreement is with the way he carried out his vigilante justice?
Not so much that he killed a trafficker (allegedly) more that he did it wrong?
I'm fine with vigilante justice, but only during times when the law no longer protects the people it should.
The reason we as a society frown upon such actions is because bad people would abuse such power if we allowed it to happen.
Yes I don't mind how sex traffickers die in general. However, this case is, as the article stated: "complex"
My logic is this, there is too many unknown to deliver a sentence on the bf. How much was the daughter actually trafficked? what age is she? What is the bf criminal history? Would a stupid 19 years old that is only a pretend pimp not deserve redemption after sentencing?
So the father is in the wrong given the limited knowledge, even he might have done more good in the end when more info is revealed.
I read it, and like I said last time (supposing the events reported are true).
Why would such a father go to such lengths to track down his daughter and to kill the one responsible?
Are you the type of person who doesn't like vigilante justice?
And yes while I disagree with bashing a tied up person, I also understand how much anger can blind a man's rational side.
And so does the courts as well, hence why you can be charged with a crime of passion as opposed to premeditated murder depending on circumstances.
Like I said I won't cry over the death of a trafficker (if events reported are true)
Edit: although I do think the courts will find him guilty of murder, I can also understand what can drive a man to such lengths.
No I love vigilante justice, but if the moment comes that I'm allowed to what I want, you would change your mind about it. :P

It's a thin line to tread.

We can't tolerate his behavior is my vote.
So it's the lack of evidence, and I can agree with that, hence I was careful with my wording.
Without knowing the full story all we can do is speculate.
End of the day we won't know what really happened unless we hear more.
My sympathy for the daughter, I hope she has a better future on the cards.
