It is an insult, but only because less than a million guns were handed in with the buyback scheme.
Australians never really gave up our guns, only because not many people actually had guns to give back.
The insulting factor is because people keep brandishing this around like we all collectively handed in our guns like good little citizens.
I repeat we never had alot of guns and it was never really a thing we "gave up".
I swear though that I've started to win arguments with people on the need of guns now that they've seen the government overreach in this plandemic.
I do support a 2a style right for all Australians for the express purpose of keeping the bastards honest.
