Now Ciattarelli is in the lead but barely. And now come the mail in ballots. My folks said they'd vote, then left me out to dry last night and I had to take my brother.
Sure it's only 2 votes but it's the mentality that they held that spans across many households 🤬
Took my son to vote, every single one matters! I hope that douche looses. Was voting different for you this year? The long receipt thing made me feel lots of hopium. It was different from years before which makes me think this may be a legit election!
What receipt? I had mail in ballot so I held it and went in person to vote and they made me do a provisional ballot that they assured me would count. My brother voted in the machine and he got no receipt, just a paper stylus.
Interesting. We voted on the machine, then a large receipt came out that showed how our votes were cast, then we verified it was correct, then we put it back in the machine and it counted it like those old school scantrons. Never done it before like that
I'll ask him. Since you had to put it back into the machine, maybe he did that and just didn't mention it to me. But our local machine has always been one of those old ones that has the colums and you push a square next to the names and it does a satisfying click.
You then click a button to confirm and a poll worker has to do something in the back to register that vote.
