Tham should always be infused via a central line, because extravasation leads to severe tissue necrosis.
I dont know what any of that means, but I am scared.
There's hopefully a meme wizard out there who can make it more approachable, assuming I didn't misinterpret the paper and this is correct.
Top - use what we have today which causes heart attacks in kids
Bottom - add a drug that causes muscle tissue to die (and the heart is a muscle). Fyi severe necrosis is known by another more common name of GANGRENE.
gangrene will certainly form necrotic tissue, but not all necrotic tissue is gangrene.
