I've been meaning to buy a MyPillow for a while now, but unsure which firmness I should get.
There is the guide, but due to periodic neck issues I often wake up with a headache. Currently I sleep with one of those foam ergonomic pillows with the dip in it, but will sleep with no pillow for a stretch as the neck issue typically lasts for a short time.
Any who, now that I've TMI'd yall, hoping to find out how thin is the Premium/Giza Elegance "least fill", or "medium" for the Classic.
Thanks!
Edit: Not so much the thinness per say, but more how much it compresses when you lay your head down to sleep.
Does it compress much when you lay your head down on it? That's where I'd need the thinness really. Thanks!
I have the firmest, and it doesn't compress much.
You know how your head will sink down into a normal pillow, then the rest of the pillow tries to fluff up around you and move your head around? That doesn't happen on a MyPillow.
Imagine that you took a couch cushion off an old square couch (that yellow spongey stuff that was soft to sit on but held its shape), chopped it up, and shoved it into a pillowcase. Then, it was prayed over that any patriot who laid their head upon it would experience a good night's sleep.
That's a MyPillow. In fact, I think that's exactly how Mike Lindell makes them. I recommend going for medium firmness while they're on sale. The only difference is you'll pop it in the dryer a lot to re-fluff it.
i have a classic as well, it is pretty thick and tends to compress about halfway. it kind of hugs your head and helps me keep my neck straight at night as i tend to curl up, you can breathe through it pretty well too, you could always put one of your old pillows under it if you feel it needs to raise up more. I have TMJ and mypillow helps me a lot, I recently also bought a body pillow (from mypillow) to help keep me from rolling while i sleep and i recommend it for folks like me that have problems getting into odd positions while they sleep and waking up with achey pains that can last for a day or more because of it.
