The post isn't asking why we didn't use masks to stop HIV transmission. The question is if HIV/AIDS patients are severely immunocompromised, why aren't visitors/healthcare providers required to mask up when in their presence?
Aids isn't a virus, it's just a condition where your immune system is non-functional (auto-immune deficiency = self-immune system not working). So they just die to a light gust of wind.
Because when you say that it isn’t a respiratory virus, the inclusion of the adjective implies that you consider it a virus, just not a respiratory virus. Otherwise, why not just say ‘AIDS isn’t a virus’?

Not saying that masks are useful for Coronavirus, though.
They are useless. And harmful and I can't stand them.

I made no description of what AIDS was or wasn't. Not sure why you are correcting me.

So if I point to a train and say "Its not a red car" you automatically assume that I believe its a car ? Just curious to know how your mind works.
