If you want to go into boxing analogies, James O'Keefe right now is equivalent to fighting the heavyweight champ, the referee, and the announcers/commentators all at the same time. He's doing a good job and has thrown several great hooks without getting bloodied up himself. For someone who is paying attention, it's obvious the champ is cheating and punching below the belt. The referee isn't looking and the commentators don't mention any dirty play even though it's televised for everyone to see.

However, much of the crowd has invested and bet on the champ and they're not really paying attention any of the champs dirty tactics because they're too busy having a good time. James O'Keefe needs these people on his side in order to win. Several are starting to realize what is happening but many are still dumb as shit not paying attention. James O'Keefe is just a much better boxer and he's never had to cheat because he wins on his skill along. If he starts openly cheating, many of his new fans will now look away and he will get nowhere. James O'Keefe needs to keep fighting the way he is fighting, he is the peoples champion and he is waking up many people.

Now there are rumors that James O'Keefe gets his undercover journalists to sleep with the enemy in order for them to spill the beans. If this is true, this is still a tactic allowed and doesn't break any laws. Whatever he is doing, he is winning and doesn't need to change tactics. The other side can't win, they know it, and they are desperate which is why they've resorted to this.
