Maybe the farmers will just have to go back to using cattle manure or some other natural fertilizer, which would be better for all of us anyway. I realize that's more difficult to come by at this point, but the world is changing and people are going to have to find alternatives.
If you take tree limbs, branches, leaves, grass... any dead material really. Place it in a big pile and turn it over once a month you’ll build better soil (compost) then any nutrient company could ever provide..
In most cases you do not need artificial fertilizer. Nature will simply take care of it when done well. Work with nature instead of trying to bend it to your will
