Exactly. I held off writing that word because I wasn't sure if it would be a common enough word for it to be understood. But that is exactly what Gates has. A tell.
And yes, everyone has a tell, for the most part. I do think Sociopaths... really seriously sociopathic folks... can potentially not have a tell. Which is, coincidentally, also why I think Bill is actually a Psychopath, not a Sociopath.
Absolutely. This is called "Duper's Delight" and is one of the most common tells for people that are purposely deceiving you. Bill Gates does this in interviews ALL THE TIME.
Yes I started noticing it some years ago, in his speeches. He does not hide it well, but I think a lot of people still miss it because they are not necessarily looking for it.
Had not heard "Duper's Delight" before though. Thanks fren. That is a great term for it.
They like to tell you what they’re going to do before they do it.
My personal favorite is the small laugh in Bill Gates' voice when he gets to what is for him the fun word.
Like here, when he eeeeever-so-slightly laughs when he says "vaccine".

If one listens for it, he will generally give you the laugh, every time, at the important parts of his speeches.
