Pyrotechnics would require oxygen to burn.

Akchually many pyrotechnics contain their own oxidizer.

Meaning they don’t need oxygen to work.

Usually they are a mix of fuel oxidizer and binder.

Yes.

Many rockets (at least used to) burn fuel that contained the oxidizer.

Though, super unstable and dangerous.
