That may not be totally accurate, there's some dimensional stretching or shrinking somewhere. From nps.gov: "555 feet and 5 1/8 inches tall. It is 55 feet wide at the base."
In searching for images of photos taken during construction of the monument, nothing's turned up that corroborates this. Although in general during that era, photos probably weren't taken often, and may have been framed in such a way to not show a tree in the middle to keep the monument itself the subject. And of course, some images may have been scrubbed or search excluded.
555.5 ft tall or 6,666 inches
Base of Monument is 55.5 ft on each side, or 666 inches

Granted I used Google, but none of 1st page hits mention 555.5 or 55.5
Edit: Thanks for the down vote, didn't realize this was the conspiracy win
Anyone interested in this topic should read "Zeitgeist 2025" by Thomas Horn. Extremely detailed and predictive of what is coming.
Yeah no, that channel makes fake horror films. For entertainment. They also made one about Mount Rushmore turning into a spike monster and the EverGiven sprouting legs
It occurred to me yesterday that when the Washington Monument is reflected into the nearby pool, you get the symbolic phrase, "As Above, So Below."
