That's stupid. It depends entirely on where you take the survey.

If it was in San Francisco, Portland or Seattle... then of course 39% would identify as LGBTQ. If the same survey was taken in Houston or Kansas City or Atlanta, then likely 5% would identify as LGBTQ.

More lying through survey.

I've seen the college sexual discrimination and harassment surveys. They have questions like "have you ever felt uncomfortable by someone looking at you?" And if you answer yes, they count you as a victim of sexual harassment for their survey by their definitions. I'm sure this survey has similar stupidity to generate the numbers they want.

Isn't Atlanta known specifically to be an lgbtq stronghold? I might be wrong but that's what I've been lead to believe
