In a real Human Use NIH study, those who experience bad effects are to be taken off the study (paused) HOWEVER they are to be followed up weekly with tests/hospitalization as needed AND REPORTED in the study.
What I think they are just dumping them as a coverup. That happens when the manufacturer runs their own tests. In the 'old' days the NIH did the testing and charged the manufacturer the cost.
