Since it's just a movie, and we know vehicles can be run on hydrogen. Hydrogen tech was killed, literally. It would've killed the fossil fuels industry. That's a lot of jobs and businesses, but it would be good for humanity if things ran on tap water. Since that would be a very hard transition, that ultimately should be done. Are they using Biden's admin to kill fossil so we can go to hydrogen?

No. Think. Trump got us off foreign oil. In that move Trump took control of supply, pricing, and war powers. That’s why Xiden shut it down day one.
• Supply. Fuel security is a critical first step to making any transition off gas-powered engines. (Petroleum makes plastics used in manufacturing thousands of products — particularly medical supplies; “fossil fuels” is only the “fuel” part).
• Price. Financial leverage is a critical step to shift the engines driving GDP and employment. Think about the millions of changes necessary to replace the infrastructure running off petroleum to new (not yet proven at scale) technology, however promising.
• War Powers. Control of the ‘Power to Make War,’ though constitutionally is in Congress, in reality is with the war profiteers. Through unlimited money supply they have captured every institution that might wield authority or pressure to control them.
Though it doesn’t solve the problem of the petrodollar, Trump removed the “blood for oil” sacrifice from the altar of the deep state.
The “Trump Doctrine” that forged peace abroad will produce prosperity at home. And who but Trump will be able to harness and unify Government with Investment and Business into a new Warp Speed project, set to bring new technology to market?
Well thought out! Thanks for that view!
It seems carbon emissions of the entire existence of man would be just a tiny blip compared to the annual volcanic emissions..
Stan Meyer had the hydrogen happening at the cylinder. No storage needed. That was in the 70s I think. Imagine what we could do today!
Most cars would be driving with 5ksi or 10ksi pressurized H2 not liquid H2, if I remember.
But I agree probably better to shift to a CNG type system for cars. Or with H2, I’ve heard of concept of ammonia NH3 as the carrier which is much less pressure to store, similar to propane basically. And could be produced with renewables and nuclear with Haber Bosch processes.
Definitely I don’t like electrical EVs lots of problems I see with those.
True nobody thinks about this but if your house is made of carbon (wood) then the carbon is trapped. If plants are alive (living wood) then the carbon is trapped. I will agree insofar as saying the car industry as a whole is extremely inefficient in terms of fuel, road upkeep, and personal expense upkeeping your own car, and I do like the idea of public/more efficient travel... but the trade is freedom of movement I can see that now that they want to take that away.

No
Cold Fusion. Its a thing. The evidence is overwhelming once you look. Fossil fuels will be dead within a few years. The world will be very different once we win this war and information becomes listened to instead of called "conspiracy" or "crackpot".
We can grow our fuel.
