Exactly this! He was trying to suppress it so he could talk and get through it and that makes it even worse. My heart hurt for him as he was breaking down. He was just a 17 year old kid when he had to shoot 3 people to save his own life.

Ever been to a haunted house or scary movie and get worked up emotionally/psychologically? Imagine literally being surrounded and chased by a mob of people who are yelling loud enough for you to hear they want to catch you and kill you.
