Sounds to me like she was able to get info in/out through comms before (taking showers = gaining info), but now can't because she's carefully watched (creepy guys = creepy crawlies + guys = guards and listening devices)

A sewer could be a pipe for carrying this water, but beyond that I'm stumped.

I was thinking the opposite, that the sewer was taking her "water" (info) about the rats. ha ha ha I don't have this gift.

OK and how about this, she was "on the loo" (poop is a comm for dirty info) and then the rat charged the guard (DS went after someone) and then the sewer was capped (the flow of info was stopped.)

Yeah I like that, the capped sewer was bothering me and that ties in nicely.

I don't have a gift for this. I'm guessing mainly, relying on decodingsymbols guy and frens here for the most part...
