I see this every time “X tested positive for COVID” comes up with my work team. They immediately launch into their reconcile loop:
Were they vaxed? -> Oh, they’re experiencing symptoms but they’re not as bad as if they weren’t vaxxed!
It seems like we’ve basically inverted the placebo effect here... Conversely, I felt run down with sinus pressure last weekend for two days, and went to bed early. I might have had the stupid thing again, but I barely ever know when I am sick, and refuse to get “tested” and contribute to more garbage data, so who knows.
