Interesting. I haven't heard of this. I'm in Taiwan. Restrictions are really strict here. Masks 100% of the time, and everyone loves their fucking vaccines.
Everyone has a misconception of Japan being totally based and such too, but as someone living in Japan, I can attest that they are not. People driving alone in cars wearing masks is quite normal here. I never wear a mask outside of work and I do see some people not wearing them too, but for the most part, everyone things that the clot shots have like MDEF+5 and HP regenerative properties.
Hey it's you again. Yep, the masks are just so stupid here. I did have a slightly promising interaction the other day though: I was talking to an acquaintance (Japanese, wearing mask outside) and I asked her if she'd been jabbed. She said NO WAY because "no long term safety data". Her husband, however, got it "because he still commutes to work and takes the train etc.". I asked her why she bothers wearing a mask outside and she said "well part of it is that other people will give me the stink-eye".
That's not the first time I've heard that. The peer pressure is real.
A while back I asked another person "what would have to happen for you to stop wearing your mask outside?" and they just said "I don't know, I guess if the government tells us we don't need to anymore..."
They looked shocked when I said they probably never will...
Very good point about the masks being permanent as long as people continue obeying. The Japanese news media makes no mention at all of the anti-mask and anti-lockdown and anti-vax passports across the world. As far as teachers go, they all seem to be pinheads wanting to "do what is right."
Do you know that there is a channel on Rumble that translates a lot of Stew Peters videos and other information on vaccines? It's called MatatabiCompass. Unfortunately, the channel also translates videos of Simon Parkes BSing about crap, as well as those fake news about Hillary Clinton being executed by firing squad and fed to sharks for the fourth time or whatever. It's hard to recommend the channel as a whole to Japanese people because of that stupidity, but individual videos are good.
I've been re-watching One Piece and I've realized that is an INCREDIBLY based show.
World government, human trafficking, drug trade, etc. I assumed that Japan was really based but your version doesn't seem to reflect that. Are people just afraid or wanting to comply?
I had a whole post on this very topic.
I've never watched One Piece because I can't stomach watching a show with the poorly-drawn main character looking like a complete moron. I understand why people like it but I'd rather watch Yamato 2199 and such. I'm talking about society as a whole. The media here is so obviously owned by Big Pharma. They only report on stuff from CNN and such.
People in Taiwan constantly tell me I'm going to need to learn to speak Chinese soon, and everyone can stop learning English, because China will take over.
They also hate China........ I guess though, they, being Chinese people, would rather see a Chinese dominated world than a free world.
Chinese people are dangerous. They're selfish. I was paying a bill somewhere the other day. I don't speak Chinese. The clerk asked me to write some information down since I probably can't say it to her (I actually do know enough to say what needed to be said, but much less chance of error to write it, so ok), so the lady behind me steps in and grabs the pad of paper I was literally putting my pen on.
Why? She just decided it's her turn, and doesn't give a shit that there's someone standing there. She's older than me, so she outranks me. They do this shit ALLL THE TIME. Chinese people "respect their elders" to an absolutely ridiculous degree. Elders think they can simply do whatever the fuck they want because of their age.
This time, the clerk asked the lady to please wait, and she backed off, but normally they'd just instantly drop me and pretend I'm not there to deal with the person who just cut in line.
The other probably bigger, danger, is that they're a hive mind. In America people are also sort of a hive mind (the sheep, the normies) but they THINK they're individuals. Chinese people have very little if not NO desire to be individuals. They will do whatever it takes to be part of the group. Fashion trends will pop up and last one or two DAYS, and I'll see dozens of people wearing the same T-shirt. Old and young, men and women...
EVERYONE here supports the vaccines and masks... why?? Because other people do, so I have to do it too!
Obeying authority is important.
People are SHOCKED that I turn down work sometimes. Boss gives me something to do in another city and I don't want to travel that far, so I say no thank you. Locals say "uh... can you DO that???".
Boss told you to. You'd better move your ass!
I think people here have much better access to information, than mainland China does, and I'm sure I'd rather be with Taiwanese people, but they're the same culture...
Also, like other minority groups in America, they're proud of their Chinese culture and will band together to defend it. They won't be called Chinese supremacists for supporting their own group like white people are. They're even openly racist, pretty often.
They CONSTANTLY tell me that white skin is better than black skin and they're jealous of mine. When applying for a job, you always need to provide a picture, and now often even VIDEO, so they can make sure you're not the wrong type.
They're fully engulfed in MSN bullshit.... news here is CNN, basically.
