I was on an attempted murder trial in Long Beach, CA. Held up for 2 days by a lady who said she would only vote guilty, because the defendant was black, an ex gang member and she had cops in the family. Finally the jury foreman went to the judge. She was dismissed, substitute juror seated, and not guilty within 1/2 an hour. 3 days of deliberations total if I remember.
I don't like it. If they were a reasonable jury they would've acquitted by now
Or a jury that isn't fearful. They weren't sequestered i understand. If the judge was under protective order I hope the jurors were as well.
