We last cruised winter 2020 and won't do so again until they lift all restrictions. I've almost resigned myself to never being able to cruise again. No way we'll get jabbed just to go on vacation.
me too we had a cruise booked for Nov 2020, didnt go. cancelled it, will not c9nsider booking any vacation until the mask shit goes away. I am not going to book something and have them change th.e rules in 6 months.
I have no problem if the airline, hotel and cruise industries go bankrupt.
I haven’t cruised since march 2020. Last one before the shut down. A rep from NCL called me the other day trying to offer me a coupon to make a booking. I told him I wasn’t interested until the vax mandate was dropped along with the mask requirement. He said I wasn’t alone in my feelings and bookings are way down due to people refusing the vax and the masks. The cdc dictating such things is just another example of government over reach but through all this I learned just how far left so many cruisers really are as evidenced by the comments on cruise critic. I can’t even go to that site anymore because it makes me sick.
the leftists are always the loudest. Most people arent like them. I blame the big corps .ore tgan cdc with rules. The cruise lines arent putting up a fight. They could, but tgey are choosing govt and leftists to cater to. I am not sure if I will ever cruise again, even if this shit ends. They showed us who they are.
So sad. We have a Panama Canal cruise booked on Celebrity for March, 2022. Final payment is coming up and we will be canceling. I have already moved this cruise twice. I thought all this mess would be over by 2022 but that was 2 years ago and I had no idea where all this was going at the time. But, we have recently discovered the benefits of all inclusive resorts and have visited two in Mexico this year. Came home with a shit ton of ivermectin on both trips. Mexico welcomes the unvaxed with open arms. They offer a free Covid test to get home and will put you up for two weeks should you test positive. I laughed a few weeks ago when they put the swab up my nose…barely. If they were looking for Covid, I will eat my hat. No masks either and a fraction of the cost of cruising.
Perhaps you can do a few road trips in the USA. Post spots that are masks free and people respect your rights. Meet up with people from this site, and other sites.

sounds fun, but I wont get on a plane due to masks. So I am stuck in dr8v8ng distance. In NC so SC mayne FL, but that is a long way.
Cancelled because royal carribean said must have COVID test 2 days before boarding. Ridiculous!
