Here in Asia, there is a stigma that women with no hair are sex workers. For the most part, that's been the case for a very long while. Also, look at the wedding pictures from China and you'll see women in sleveless wedding dresses with armpit hair. Hairless underarms are viewed as sleazy. Korea and Japan are not like that, but pubic hair is left alone and it's a sign of virtue. Americans who come to Japan and complain about that can GTFO.

For guys, it's very easy for us to get convinced to spend money on lots of crap. We're into stereo systems, big TVs, video game systems, etc. The most successful marketing campaign to convince women to spend their money is to convince them that God made a mistake when he designed women's bodies. There is a stereotype that only ugly moonbat chicks with purple hair don't shave, but I don't think that's the case. Heck, if I was a woman, I wouldn't want to shave. I can barely shave my face twice a week without suffering from razor burn. My wife stops shaving during the wintertime because she doesn't want to. But Japan is like America and there's the social pressure that is unfair to women.
