I suggest everyone here griping about no knock warrants go back and listen to Bongino's show from a year back or so, he explains it quite well from an former police officer and secret service point of view. The short version is that no knock warrants are VERY difficult to get a judge to sign off on. No knock warrants are only for very dangerous people, those that are likely to cause collateral damage to bystanders. Do you really want to warn someone who acts like they have zero to lose to jet out the rear window and take a hostage, or simply shoot someone in the street b/c they know the cops will stop to help...get real. Some things distasteful do have their application, and when it comes to taking down very dangerous people -- sorry, but no knocks are quite necessary when it comes to certain individuals, if the criminal reacts poorly and gets blasted tough shit...
Downvote all you want, this is one time I could care less, but take to the time to research and think about this topic.
