I know that but I'm asking in the larger context. I cross over that same border several times a month, and I don't live in anyone of those counties. Lake County, McHenry County, Kenosha County and Walworth County, all four counties are like their own little region that happens to straddle a state line. So are they pushing a narrative that crossing state lines should be frowned upon or just when you need to protect yourself? If one purchases a firearm in WI it should stay there, and if another purchases a firearm in IL it must stay there. If that is the case about half the people living in those four counties are screwed. I know every jurisdiction is different, fine, I get that, but come on.

It's just the media smearing a kid who had to do the right thing to defend himself. There's nothing more to it.
