He drove through the barricades blocking off the route. They looked like the small wooden ones like saw horses, not the long steel ones.
Kind of odd, looks intentional to me.
The barricades I'm used to seeing are the concrete ones. People have to check their surroundings everywhere.
They feel safe because they're used to being protected ... not set-up like they were here
