I had to move out of the hood. College nearby so that’s why.
I was up there today because of traffic and stopped by a McDonald’s. I noticed they closed the dining room and have a new walk up window. Anyway I’m watching the cops at two different places on the train platform (green line to Minneapolis). I get to the window and mind you I’m a 40 something in a brand new Jetta, I’ve got my nursing uniform on. Lady at the window covered in face tattoos like, “it’s fucking cold outside” then she looks like maybe I shouldn’t have said it like that but I know they won’t fire me unless I’m dead. I clap back, “yeah bitch it’s fucking cold outside where’s your jacket?” She’s laughing and everything’s alright.
These people do live rough man. I grew up on a farm and my grandmother was a successful artist. I’m getting the fuck out of here.
