Jefferson would have approved.

He wouldn't want HIS statue in New York City Hall these days... not with all of the crap they are allowing these days. I don't think Jefferson would want any part of NYC today.

In fact, if Jefferson was alive today, he would probably be leading the revolution AGAINST the corrupt government.
