OMG! Not Nigeria.... I was so close to getting my share of the inheritance.
Disabled? Or these countries no longer accept the federal reserve fiat - 'inflation'
USD deposit/withdraw channel disabled. That's what it says in the article. So no more using SWIFT for USD basically.
Swift and MoneyGram both use the XRPL. Right in the midst of litigation between Ripple and the SEC...hmmmmm
The list is in the link but this seems like a very big thing that is happening. Not sure if good or bad and maybe others here have more to say about it.
Looks like the BRICS might have their own system coming on-line.
Looks to me like Binance was doing SWIFT transactions for these currency's and has decided not to anymore? I assume Binance is not the only player in town, that said, I am not a financial expert, but if they were booted out of the SWIFT system entirely would it not be big enough to warrant lots of attention? I can only find a couple refences to it online.
It just means that binance payment gateway (or contracting bank) banned them. Good riddance, I say.
About time for XRP to moon. Fill your bags if you haven't done so already. The buyback of xrp from retail investors is going to be epic.
