My son who had a TBI from falling down our concrete basement steps. He had huge hematomas on the back of skull that we could see when we were brought in to see him in the ER room. They told us they had to sedate him because he was seizing uncontrollably, they had 4 people holding him still. I didn't know what the outcome would be but I prayed for him. He was transferred to a trauma center and when I met with the neurologist he said his pupils are reactive. That was good news, he did have a subdural hematoma and a skull fx. The next day he was off the ventilator and asking the same questions over and over, bless his heart. I believe it wasn't his time to go and that the Lord was preparing us for what was to come, his murder by a love interest. She received 7 years for manslaughter and was out in 4 years. Meanwhile, our life is pretty much over.
