Wait, you're a man and you're saying God doesn't talk to man? Really? How would you know, if he doesn't talk to you but talks to someone else? I get messages all the time, not by word but by God's actions, so, to me, it's perfectly possible for the Lord to speak to certain people.
God speaks to anyone willing to listen.
You are right that prophecy ended in 70ad. Daniel 9 shows us that.
Daniel 9 24 “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
That section of scripture has been twisted by religion. People push the idea of the antichrist and his 7 years. 3 1/2 years and then him ending the sacrifice and offering.
If you look that over without listening to religion you will see that the last 7 years is referring to Jesus and his ministry and the last 7 years for Israel. (verse 24)
3 1/2 years that Jesus preached the gospel to the Jews. Then the cross. With the cross he ended the sacrifice and offerings. 3 1/2 years later Peter sees a vision of a sheet with many unclean animals and learns that the gospel goes out to all people. That was the point that ended the 70 sevens.
The common teaching now teaches this 7 years is referring to the antichrist. That somehow he sets up abomination in a temple that has already rejected Gods plan. That is just not true.
The abomination was the continued sacrifice at the temple after Jesus rose from the grave. The abomination was the rejection of Gods plan. That abomination lead to the desolation.
Daniel's 70x7 Was the amount of time allotted for Isreal. We are now in a new testament.
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. We are all one in Christ
Prophets have been saying Trump will get 2 terms.
