Well the bible speaks of God as a seven fold Spirit.
The bible says that Jesus is the word of God.
John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
When you start comparing scripture with scripture you realize that the statement God is one does not mean the number 1 but one in purpose.
Genesis 2:24 A man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one.
They are two different people yet they become one.
Other examples in the bible would be the men of a nation going out to war as one. Things like that.
God is Spirit. I fully expect Jesus to return. I just do not buy what the churches teach about that.
Jesus is the Living Word of God. Our sin has blinded us from the Word of God.
His return will be the return of the power of the Word of God into our hearts.
Satan will no longer be able to deceive the nations For 1000 years. (Rev 20).
The final judgement will be (and is) us judging ourselves.
God has already declared that all sin has been cancelled by His son.
The simple reason is this. Jesus is the head of the church. When God "sees" us he sees us through the church. If for some reason He has a problem with us he will go to the Head of the church and ask.
If you look at the garden with Adam and Eve. We know that Eve sinned and then Adam. God FIRST talked to Adam because Adam was the head (theone responsable) Adam passed on his responsibility so God turned to Eve.
Jeuse (the second Adam) will not do that
We have free will. We can choose to accept the forgiveness and be set free or we can choose to accept the lie and not be able in live in the truth.
God will not force us to accept the truth. If He did we would not have free will.
At any time we can reject the lie and turn to the living truth. We are warned that it is impossible to do that without being humble.
We are warned that there is only one way. Every other path is a lie and will not lead to the truth.
We do not see it but nothing can separate us from Gods Love Nothing. We can reject what he offers us we can even reject Him. Our sin will not change His word.
He will never leave us or forsake us.
We can choose to believe that he has somehow forsaken us. But that is
just a lie. If we choose to live in that lie we are living in hell where the torment never ends. Not torment from God but torment from the lies we choose to walk in.
The truth is heaven. The truth is where we were created to be.
The truth is home.
Could be. I know one thing. Everything is about free will. If we have no way of using our free will to know the truth than there is no free will.
BTW the Roman emperor did not edit it. The new "church" did hijack it.
I see how the Word of God changes peoples lives. I also see how the churches twist the Word of God for their own ends.
What I read and dwell on in the bible resonates with my spirit What I hear in churches does not always resonate.
We do not need the bible to walk with God. We need a heart that seeks after God.
With a heart that seeks after God we can seek that which resonates with what He is showing us.
When I find what I think is a contradiction in the bible I dwell on it and I allow God to show me correct way to see things.
An example. Many churches teach things like Calvinism or Wesley's predestination.
To keep it simple one side believes in predestination (some are selected to be saves) and the other believes that all can be saved
They all use scripture to justify their position.
Since I believe that any contradiction I find in the bible is an error that much be worked through.
First I consider that I do not understand the contest.
Second I consider that the translation may be wrong (Daniel 9)
Third which I have not come across is that scripture is wrong.
Now the Calvin vs Wesley people. Both say that one or the other has to be true.
Either God predestines or he does not. Both sides are dealing with a "small" God. G
After dwelling on this my answer is simple. God paved the way for all. As far as God is concerned all are "saved".
Sin is no longer the problem because sin was nailed to the cross. God completely removed sin from the equation.
Sin died on the cross when Jesus cried out My God My God why have you forsaken me?
God did not forsake Jesus because His word plainly says He will NEVER forsake us.
That was sin crying out That God did something wrong. Just like in the garden when Adam said The woman YOU gave me caused me to sin.
We have free will. The choice is ours it will ALWAYS be ours. We can choose to trust Him or we can choose to live in fear. That is all that free will is.
So keeping it simple. I believe that bible as written (not as translated) is the Word of God because to resonates with the inner voice that first spoke to me and told me to seek Him.
