This is a miscarriage of justice. People keep saying they "should not have chased him" but that is absolutely incorrect. Everyone has a right to defend their neighborhood against burglars. Arbery was NOT a "jogger" as we all know. He was repeatedly filmed trespassing on properties where things had gone missing. There was an ongoing problem in that neighborhood which is why the neighbors were on alert.
If we did not have the right to defend our neighborhood from this kind of thing, then we therefore could not possibly delegate this power to the police. You can only delegate powers that exist.
Furthermore, these men did not "hunt him down and shoot him." They tried to detain him for the authorities. He did not have to assault them either. Remember it was only when Arbery caused a struggle over a gun, and someone feared for their life, that he was shot. He did not have to make this choice.
Calling this "murder" is an absolute miscarriage of justice. At this point, with the authorities so corrupt and evil, what choice do people have except to live in communities where there are no blacks?
Yep, I agree with you 100% Zero way this is murder for ALL THREE of them. When they woke up that day, or even when they saw Arbery, they didn't have it on their mind to kill someone.
I mean what do you do? Just watch the thug roam your neighborhood, call the cops, by the time they show up, he's gone.
I mean I probably would have done the same thing, chase the dude out of my neighborhood or try to stop him and wait for the cops, in my mind I see absolutely nothing wrong with that..... ESPECIALLY in this day and age we live in.
But he charged the dude tried to take his gun, got shot and because of Arbery's actions they most likely will all go away for life, for protecting their neighborhood.
there was no legal case for making a citizens arrest. suspicion of theft alone isnt enough to detain him with guns. they didnt catch arbery commiting theft. do you really want a legal precedent that any asshole can try to make citizens arrest based on suspicions alone? Next time you're in a city, some antifa faggot is allowed to hold you at gun point?
we have laws. if someones stealing from your property you can hold them at your property. this was not it
I mean I see what you are saying, I see both sides, maybe I'm in the wrong and honestly I'm fine with that. I don't want to see anyone hurt or killed no matter what color, but dude was obviously somewhere he shouldn't have been, doing shit he shouldn't be doing. He put himself in that situation, then he exacerbated the problem by running at the person with a gun and trying to take it.... I think looking at Arbery's past, the fact they saw him there before, he's in a house he shouldn't be in, these are things he did, they should be taken in to account. Those dudes were not out there trying to murder a black dude... thats BS.
And I wouldn't care cause I would never be where ANTIFA is and if they did try to pull guns on me we would have a nice little shoot out... I'd honestly be happier with a shoot out then to have to go through our bullshit legal system.
Mostly because the whole "We have laws" aren't going to work for law abiding gun folks much longer. Kyle fucking squeaked by on something that should have never been charged, 40-50 years ago Arbury case would have never been charged.
I mean I get it, but if you are relying on laws of the land to protect your family or your neighborhoods, probably worthless to have guns in the future.

Do we have a right to be left alone?
