Last week I posted on this board that I verbally resigned from my woke fortune 500 financial institution. Today I formalized and submitted my written resignation effective Dec 31. It feels good.
The past week was crazy emotional to say the least - after 20 years with my firm I'm leaving some very good people behind. But I refuse to spend any more time with a company that is imposing vax mandates and, from my standpoint, is on the wrong side of history. I told management that they might as well quit too as the company will be litigated into oblivion (a little dramatic but could be true) with all the civil rights and constitutional violations.
I'm leaving a lucrative position with 2 kids in college so not the best time to leave - It's in Gods hands now and I know all will be OK. By stepping out of the matrix for real today I only hope that I can wake up a few folks on my way out. For the next month my new job at my firm is to red-pill-the-fuck out of as many colleagues as possible. Wish me luck.
Thank you patriot! I grew up in FL (Tampa area), but it is too crowded, and hot, for me down there. I always thought the panhandle might still be an option to move to some day (but need to live far enough from the coast to prevent total destruction from a hurricane :) ).
We are on the Texas coast and ironically we are 17ft above sea level. We are always prepared to bug out if necessary. But we stayed through 3 of the worst storms in recent history (Katrina, Rita, Ike) because we worked for the electric utility company and my husband was head of a department for Texas so if he couldn't go, I wouldn't go.
Basically, if your home is high enough and you have no trees near enough to fall on your home, you'll probably be ok. We had a few shingles blown from our roof during Rita. So, if you decide to come back down south maybe you can find a good location, but I can't do anything about the heat...lol! I can recommend a Generac whole house generator...best purchase we ever made! We could never make it up north cause we're wimps and can't take the cold.
Take care fren!
