It appears more like the drama comes to him from outside sources. They play to be his friend then betray him. Lin is a defamation lawyer, he fights for people that are defamed. Now he is getting defamed. Logic deduces that although he could certainly be a pot stirrer, its not super likely. Many less people know who he is vs the people who took center stage and tried to assimilate themselves into the Q movement, especially Flynn. It's a mistake to give him a lot of credit when he was just a poster boy after the fact. I still think he was a false target put up to misdirect the DS
