A very trusted pharmacist I know would probably recommend around 10-12mg per dose at your weight. She got a prescription for 18mg pills for me (approx 190 lbs) and also 18mg for my dad and uncle who are around 230 lbs.
The instructions for the mg amount didn't vary for active covid or for prevention. The difference was in the recommended frequency. For active covid the instructions were twice a day. For prevention and overall health the instructions are (literally on the bottle): "1 now, then 1 cap in 72 hrs. Then, 1 capsule every other week". At the end it really says "every other week", not "every other day".
These are the instructions I received from someone I highly trust and therefore I'm comfortable sharing them. I would try to independently verify this, or perhaps other Frens can weigh in.
Go to the physicians desk reference. It will guide you. Also, if you search ivermectin dose or ivermectin anything, almost all of the sites have about he same dosage. I believe 118 lbs. would be 12 mg. but double check.
We are on our second week and feel terrific. One of the best (unexpected) good things happening is sinus problems leaving completely.
