Once again, putting /s on obvious sarcasm ruins the joke. I figure obvious stuff like decades and Islamic invasion along with how utterly ridiculous such a suggestion as Sweden being the "Rape Capital of Europe" when it's known for being basically a pretty stoic place would be enough of a tipoff....
The very same WP article (which we will take as "peer reviewed" though this could go either way in terms of reliability given the peers editing) the very next sentence states: "However, this does not necessarily mean rape is three times as likely to occur as in the rest of Europe, since cross-national comparisons of crime levels based on official crime statistics are problematic, due to a number of factors described below." (To expand on my remark above, I will observe this is the difficulty of using WP as a source - my take is this statement is actually attempting to obfuscate the problem rather than clarify it.)
The suggestion that for some reason Sweden was somehow worse ("by a considerable extent" particularly) than every other similar country in terms of demographics, politics, and general morals prior to opening borders and letting a bunch of unlike-minded savages in is frankly absurd.
The one area I will concede I was in fact ignorant now that I'm researching further rather than going off memory (I've been tracking this stuff for years) was just how long ago this started - the mid-70s as it turns out.
Bonus round - I guess I don't know what I'm talking about after all! - it's very nearly the Rape Capital of The World. "Sweden is now number two on the global list of rape countries. According to a survey from 2010, Sweden, with 53.2 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants, is surpassed only by tiny Lesotho in Southern Africa, with 91.6 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants."
I was under the impression that that title was bestowed because of the refugee swarms. Had no idea Sweden was known for that prior to the onslaught.
I did date a Swede who told me about a harrowing experience in her past. I suppose that would have been in the early 90s.

OK, let's un-confuse.

(You will note this piece covers tons including a mention vs Denmark, substantiating point 2.)
*how utterly ridiculous such would be before all this, that is.
Not to mention "fact check" like we ever say that and "partially true" ...
