Relying on humans better nature and faith in God coming out on top is how we ended up in this mess to start with. Makes for a good feel good story. But reality is always a lot more messy and dark.

Just to be clear. Faith in God is important. But simply having faith in God isn’t always enough to guarantee victory. History is littered with examples where faith in God didn’t save people from crushing defeat.
