It's too easy to hide things in vague generalizations. ! ––NEVER WALK AWAY FROM ASSURANCES THINKING YOUR WORK IS DONE–– ! Make sure. Demand transparency and pin them down. Make them tell you the steps and then stand there to make sure they take them. If they resist at all or become openly belligerent, fire their asses immediately, or start taking your own steps to make that happen because it means they are not on the parents' side, and never will be.
