Can you be sued for the details of a testimony made under oath? I don't think that is considered slander for f it part of the trial.
Lying under oath is perrjury and is a crime. If she be has no details, no proof and just said it without direct knowledge, she is rightfully fucked. If she was coached to say it, her lawyers will be disbarred and face serious charges.
what about the whole 'public figure' protection?
They would have to prove she was lying. If she said " I saw Epstein procured 24 year old girls for powerful men like Donald Trump"that is not the same thing as going on a tv show and saying that, not is it the same as going to the police and saying trumps molested 14 kids.
During that testimony if Epstein and Maxwell are the subject and Trump's name came up as being seen l, that is not the same thing.
If that were poss blevto sue people like that no poor person would ever testify against a wealthy person ever. It would be too easy to intimidate witnesses.
I don't even know who the woman is, or I'd she said that as a court proceedings tbh. The OP provided very little info other than a claim that it was said by someone.
